All rooms and suites feature:
Private Baths, Central Air Conditioning, Windows that open, Hairdryers, Iron and Ironing Board, Plush Pima Cotton Towels, Triple Sheeted Beds with Luxury Linens, Foam and Feather Pillows, HD TV, Alarm Clock with USB Charging, and Premium “Bee Kind” US made Amenities.
Wireless internet access is available throughout all properties.
A locally sourced Organic gourmet three-course en-suite breakfast is provided each morning unless you have chosen to OPT OUT of Breakfast. Special Meals for Dietary restrictions may incur an additional cost.
An evening “Sweetie”, bottled water, complimentary beverages and snacks and a guest refrigerator are available in all areas.
The J. Palen House is a non-smoking Inn.
To insure the comfort of all our guests smoking is only permitted in the outdoor courtyard areas. Smoking violations will incur a $500.00 cleaning/deordorizing fee.

If you travel with your pet, they’re welcome in the Inn’s pet friendly rooms ( The Roost and The Cottage ) but are not allowed in any other room. Each room has direct access to the outdoors making it easy for you and your four-legged companion to come and go as needed.
When traveling with your pet, our pet friendly Bed and Breakfast is happy to supply you with dog bowls and as many pick-up bags as your dog can fill.
Please be mindful of the following items when visiting our Pet Friendly Inn:
1. There is an additional fee of $45.00 per night per pet. (Dogs only)
2. Pets should be taken with you whenever you exit your room. For the safety of other guests and our staff, if you must leave your pet unattended in your room, they must be in an appropriate size cage. Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds.
3. Please understand that you are responsible for any damages or additional cleaning of furniture, rugs or bedding if our policies are ignored and caused by your pet.
4. There is a leash law and wastepick-up law in Cleveland.

Deposit and Payment
A deposit equal to one-half of the stay or a minimum of one night is required when the reservation is made. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are gladly accepted.

check-in:  between 3:00 PM ~ 5:00 PM (unless an early arrival option has been added to your reservation)

Cancellation Policy
As we are a small inn, cancellations affect us greatly. If you find it necessary to cancel or change your reservation, please call as soon as possible and at least 14 days ( groups 30 days ) prior to your scheduled arrival. If changed or cancelled more than 14 days prior to your original arrival date, we will try to accommodate any scheduling changes that fall within our policy. If we cannot, or you wish to cancel altogether, your advance payment will be refunded less a $45.00 administration fee per room.
For cancellations within 14 days of your scheduled arrival: As a condition of your confirmed reservation, you agree that the advance payment required for the confirmed reservation (50% of the full cost of the confirmed reservation or one night’s cost, whichever is greater ) will be forfeited immediately upon any cancellation within fourteen days of your scheduled arrival. All cancellations must be provided in writing by email. The Inn does not accept Text Messages. In the unlikely event that you need to cancel for any reason, we recommend that you consider travel insurance.
